Groups are pretty much divided by the 'race' of your character-- not ethnicity, but what they are. A Meister, Weapon, so on and so forth. meister. Meister- literally a word meaning ‘master’ in German- is the term used for people with exceptional soul wavelengths. Most Meisters dwell within the Academy, training with their chosen Weapon. The ranking of Meisters is designated with stars- one being the lowest and three being the highest. In order to raise a rank, certain criteria must be viewed- the focus in battle, skill types, and desire to harvest Kishin souls. Two and above generally are sent on special missions, and have a larger variety of permissions within the Academy. Each Meister has a variety pack of different abilities, but there are skills that every Meister does share. Wavelength communication is just one of them.Meisters tend to have some sort of athletic training, and tend to be a bit tougher than their weapons- for obvious reasons. This is, however, not a one-hundred percent constant. weapon. Weapons- also called ‘Demon Weapons’- are human beings who possess the ability to transform into a weapon! Big surprise. Weapons admitted to the Academy are paired with Meisters and, together, they can achieve greatness. The origins of Weapons is pretty long. Weapon blood may be passed down through generation after generation, or just stop abruptly and never turn up in a family again. Some cases, families with 0 Weapon blood has an offspring who can transform. The origins of each Weapon is different and pretty exciting! Like Meisters, Weapons have a variety of abilities that differ from one to another. They share the wavelength communications Meisters have, as well as other abilities that all Weapons use.Demon Weapon is the most basic form of Weapons. Death Scythe, while not all scythes, is the top rank. witch. Witches are powerful beings who possess a destructive ability. Most witches are based upon a certain animal, and that animal is the influence of their personalities, fighting styles, and appearances. They are guided by the ‘Sway of Magic’, which is a destructive instinct nearly every witch possesses, or will possess. Young witches and nondestructive magic are the only ones that do not feel the Sway of Magic, and are perhaps the luckiest of witches in this fact. Each witch has their own personal chant in order to perform their magic, and they all have a range of abilities that all vary greatly. Every so often, the Queen Witch will hold a Witch Mass- a large gathering of witches. At the end of each Mass, the phrase ‘Joma Joma Dabarasa’ is said. kishin. Kishin- literally meaning ‘Demon God’- is the term for beings that consume an innumerable amount of innocent souls. Since only one Kishin has been fully reached in history, it is hard to imagine exactly what qualities are given to the Kishins- however, from speculation, achieve the status of god and release such a toxic madness wavelength that the whole world can be driven to insanity. The Academy’s goal since the beginning is to protect the world from this kind of raw power, killing any soul that has fallen to this kind of madness.
