• Be respectful to everyone. Staff, members, guests- everyone. If anyone hears of you being a jerk to someone else on site, then you will receive a warning! That's not fun, so if you want to fight and argue with another member, take it off site or in private.  • Listen to staff please! Please, please, please. You don't want to get on anyone's bad side, and especially not an admin or moderator's. While we have to maintain professional and not let personal matters effect our decisions... we will still try to make it so you're outta here if you piss us off. ;] • Please try to read all the information before asking questions! But, with that said, don't be afraid of asking them either. We want everyone to understand the site to the best of their ability- and if you've read it all and are still slumped, that just indicates to us that we gotta help elaborate in the area! • This is kind of a rule regarding the way our site looks in all. Your avatar has to be 220x350 pixels. Not only that, but it won't look nice unless you link the avatar instead of upload it. Our basic avatar- which hopefully shows well- has the dimensions on it so you can remember, but please make an effort to keep it this size. Many sites can help out with resizing, too, so if you can't figure a way, use a site like... Ipiccy or Ribbet or even OIE! Tinypic is a good site for uploading images, too, so it might be handy. • Be active! Okay, we get it, things happen all the time. It sucks hardcore, I know, and sometimes you can't get on for days, weeks, months. But please try to stay active. You don't have to, but if you end up being someone we all love to death, we want to be able to know if you're at least okay!

roleplaying

• Gore! Gore is... fine, on a basic level. I'm sure a few of us would just love having an in depth roleplay on the murder of someone, bu~t... Proboards has rules against that stuff! Can't go too hardcore, so please keep it to a minimum detail. • Sex and stuff? That's cool, we are tolerant, but we cannot have any graphic sex scenes here. Little sex scenes that were done but not touched up on at all? Sure! You have full permission to do it offsite, of course, if it's legal, too! But on here? No, sorry. • Don't you dare godmod or powerplay. Please. • Canon characters from any show or book or any of the sort aren't allowed. It's a bummer, I know, but this is just because... it gets complicated when you add in real characters. You ca~n, however, make a character very similar to said character. Just with a new backstory and the such. (Plus, some people won't agree with your portrayal of them and this... limits the drama a bit!) • However, you can totally join as a Soul Eater character. The only thing you have to keep in mind is the manga-canon deaths, the fact that they are probably much older now, and you'll have to keep in mind their likely positions at this time. • We don't have a word requirement, but it's always nice to get a well thought out, deep post. If you do script roleplay... ahhh, yeah, that won't cut it. No word requirement, but at least give us a paragraph! • A lot of people are kind of lazy like me, and like to procrastinate. That's fine, but, it's nice to at least have a stable roleplay going on. If you're in a group roleplay, and lost interest or just couldn't keep up with it anymore, please make an attempt to leave it so no one is being held up. In a one-on-one, post as frequent as you can, and only make your partner wait if it's okay with them. If it's not, and you can't manage it... then leave it! • Also, if your partner may have forgotten, it's A-OK to remind them! Just don't badger them. It may seem cute or funny to you with your nagging, but sometimes it'll just frustrate your partner into not posting at all. • No one is obligated to roleplay with anyone~!

chatbox

• A families' commonroom. That's what the chatbox is. It's a place to make friends and have laughs, and that's what it is intended for. If you have to argue, do it elsewhere, please. • Just like in real life situations, you have to be careful what you say at times. Just because it sounds okay in your head doesn't mean it won't hurt someone's feelings. The best way to avoid this is to just be kind! Compassionate and stuff, you know. • If you, at any time, feel bullied, let staff know ASAP. Don't do it in public, though- PM us or drag us along to a different site or IM board. We want you to know we will do what we can without mentioning your name, and take care of matters there. • Keep things PG-13. This shouldn't have to be explained, really, but try to avoid... too much graphic details in inappropriate matters. • No advertising and no spamming. It's rude and distracting at times!  • Please don't impersonate other members- especially not staff! To know whether someone is staff or not, the will two colors within their names- as well as (if they are on their computer and not a mobile device) a symbol of some sort in a distinguished color.
